Perfectly Fitted Crowns with Cerec 3D

What Makes a Perfect Crown

Don't let a broken or severely worn tooth cause discomfort or steal your smile. With durable, attractive crowns, inlays, and onlays, Dr. Farr can restore oral comfort, function, and appearance.

crown fits snugly atop a compromised tooth to provide structural integrity and protect it from further damage. Made to blend seamlessly with your existing smile, a custom-made crown will be the right size, color, and shape for your mouth. Dr. Farr uses white all-ceramic crowns milled with our on site lab (Cerec 3D) to beautifully match your natural teeth.

Digital Impressions for Comfortable, Precise Restorations

CEREC Dental RestorationsFollowing your consultation, your custom crown will take two visits to design and place. First, we'll take a digital impression of your tooth and then fit you with a temporary. No more old fashioned "goopy" impressions! We will then create your crown using our on-site laboratory. This speeds the process and allows us to precisely create your crown for a perfect fit.

At your second visit, Dr. Farr will remove your temporary and bond your permanent crown. Our long-lasting, natural-looking crowns require the same care as natural teeth, including regular checkups and hygiene visits.

If your tooth doesn't need a full crown, but requires more restoration than a filling can provide, Dr. Farr may suggest an onlay or "partial crown". Like crowns,  onlays restore form and function to compromised teeth and are customized, handmade cast restorations out of either porcelain or gold.

Normally, restorations such as crowns are created in an off-site lab. As a result patients must wear a temporary crown for a few weeks and return for a second appointment after the permanent crown has been completed for a final fitting.
